Roundup: Your Rights as a Protestor [ INFOGRAPHIC ]

More than 200,000 people are expected to attend the Women’s March on Washington this Saturday, January 21, 2017, a day after Donald Trump gets officially sworn into office. Thousands of other protestors are expected to march in “Sister Marches” or local marches happening in different cities on the same day.

Even though these marches are peaceful protests, it’s important to know your rights as a protestor, demonstrator, or marcher. In the event of a confrontation with the police, knowing your rights will allow you to confidently and diplomatically assert them to keep you out of trouble.
